Connecting Through Culture As We Age

Updated: Dec 14, 2022

Clients and partners: University of Bristol, UK Research & Innovation, Arts & Humanities Research Council

Culture Commons are working closely with leading researchers at the University of Bristol and a large number of sector partners on this UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) ‘Healthy Ageing Challenge’ programme to explore how and why people take part in arts and culture as they get older.

Through a series of inclusive innovation processes, the 'Connecting Through Culture As We Age' team will encourage cross sectoral collaborations in designing new products, services and experiences, and support the creative and cultural sector to better understand the needs of diverse older adults.

Culture Commons are working to make sure emerging findings, implications and recommendations are made available to policy makers, the creative and cultural sectors and beyond to maximise impact at the local and national levels.
